The 14" suspension rack weapons release unit provides suspension and release of  weapons by electrical or pyrotechnic mechanism, providing the force to initiate hook release. The suspension rack offered by Rock Wings Ltd. uses one cartridge or electrical power (subject to its type) that opens the hooks only, to allow vertical ejection. The arming unit is under the control of the pilot and allows him to selectively eject and arm or unarm weapon at his decision.

A safety mechanism is provided to positively lock the release mechanism when a safety pin is installed.
